all these years it has promoted, sponsored and contributed to numerous important projects, including twinnings suggested by some schools of the park with schools and municipalities belonging to other protected areas, memoranda of understanding between the park, the municipalities and schools for the adoption of areas and paths, projects for the use of green furniture with the Didactic Directions and Institutes including compulsory schools, information campaigns, conferences and orientation seminars in schools and then the online projects of schools such as Adottiamo il Parco , Libera la Creativit\u00e0, Praticantato Creativo and Millegiovani per il Parco, involving thousands of students of all types and levels of school of the 13 municipalities of the park.<\/p>\n<p>All these activities are aimed at improving the ability of the schools of the park to deal with the problems of the territory they belong to, so that they can build and organize a school, educational and training environment that favours learning processes oriented towards sustainability principles and promote a kind of behaviour that is consistent with the environmental protection.<\/p>\n<p>The park also has an interest in promoting environmental education as a path of testimony, valorisation and dissemination of valuable work done in schools that engages all students, teachers, school leaders in order to teach the new generations what sustainability is.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-11125-2\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div class=\"siteorigin-panels-stretch panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-11125-2\" data-stretch-type=\"full\" ><div id=\"pgc-11125-2-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-11125-2-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"3\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<h2><strong>Objectives<\/strong> of the initiative<\/h2>\n<p>The goal is to give value to the school and make it an irreplaceable local resource that is able to rebuild the bonds within the community, the sense of belonging and identity, the awareness of one\u2019s roots.<\/p>\n<p>Environmental education is promoted in order to help future generations recover their local identity, thus favouring the social development of the Vesuvius territory and encouraging the discovery of a different volcano, on which you can walk through centuries of lava and history, through thick forests and open clearings, along tracks that represent ideal windows from which you can admire the most beautiful landscape in the world.<\/p>\n<p>The park is well aware that children, young people, their parents, teachers and school leaders with their contribution can help to win one of the most daring bets of world environmentalism, to recover the typicality and the charm of Mount Vesuvius and Mount Somma, taking them away from decay and returning them to the delight of current and future generations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-11125-3\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div class=\"panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-11125-3\" ><div id=\"pgc-11125-3-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-11125-3-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"4\" ><div class=\"panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-11125-3-0-0\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<h2>The Vesuvius, a commercial against the rubbish left on the volcano<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you really want your children to play surrounded by rubbish instead of enjoying the nature of the #Vesuvius National Park?\u201d.
